HEY BROMIES.
It's Oreo again. With this dude, Edward Baynes from Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory.
It's a fantastic rock opera full of mystery, horror, psychological, and supernatural bullshit. The epic kind. Uhhh.
A young senator of someplace or another in 1928. Still working out head canon. ANYHOW, long story short: he gets in an affair with his brother's lover, Victoria and gets really... really attached. Turns out, despite his caring, calm demeanor in the beginning, he's pretty possessive and a little... off the handle. In the end, he discovers that his brother ended up getting back together with Victoria. He goes apeshit and shoots them both. Then he covers up the murder with a fake suicide note and claims himself as the witness.
The whole resurrection/vision bits are super cool too BUT... that gets complicated and you should just LISTEN TO THE ALBUM. Because I'm not spoiling the actual ending here.
